Is there free parking at Irvine Amphitheater? ›

FREE! Yes, parking is currently free with general admission. The parking is located right next to the Fivepoint Amphitheatre Presented by Mercury Insurance. However, please be aware that parking can be a little bit confusing.

This venue has a capacity of over 12,000.

The types of tickets available at FivePoint are 280 VIP seats, 6,500 regular bleacher seats and approximately 5,500 standing-room seats in front of the stage.

FivePoint Amphitheatre Parking Tailgating

In most cases, tailgating is not permitted during or after the event. Additionally, things like open-flame grilled or oil-frying equipment usually are not allowed for tailgating.

From the Train to the Concert in Five Minutes

If you arrived from a station located north of Irvine, cross the pedestrian bridge and follow the signs to the walkway entrance. If you arrived from a station located south of Irvine, simply make your way along the platform to reach the walkway!

Live Nation, the FivePoint Amphitheater's operator, closed the venue in October after they said new housing construction near the venue made it impossible to get enough space for parking and other transit.

They are mostly decently maintained and strategically located across FivePoint Amphitheater. Additionally, one can find genderless restrooms there as well.

In 2016, the Irvine Company decided not to renew Live Nation's lease at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, meaning that the 35-year-old venue would permanently close and face demolition to make way for housing developments.

Is Five Points Amphitheater temporary? ›

Permanent amphitheater

The envisioned 8,000- to 10,000-seat venue, intended to replace the temporary FivePoint Amphitheatre, which closed last year, is slated to open by summer 2027.

Free parking is available at Great Park. Premier parking will be available on a first-come basis for $10 per car in Parking Lot 2 (cash and credit card accepted).

ON-SITE parking is available. Parking fee is included in ticket price. Upgraded parking options and parking for oversized vehicles may be purchased in advance via livenation.com or you may purchase on-site. Limited quantities are available.

Amtrak trains stop at the Irvine Station, which can be reached from the Irvine Business Complex (IBC) on OCTA Route 86. Route 86 travels along Main Street in the IBC and runs every hour. There is free parking available at Irvine Station in a 1,500 space parking structure.

General admission parking comes with your ticket. If you want easier entry and exit, go for Premier Parking or VIP Parking.
